Foundations of Ajax

昨天在西单买了本《Ajax基础教程》, 并在火车上很快地读完了这本200多页的书.
1. 条理性不强. 内容有拼凑之嫌, 特别是又想讲一些基础知识, 又想讲一些pattern, 又想讲一些技巧, 重点不突出, 内容不”Foundation”.
2. 主要内容为JavaScript, 而对于css, xhtml, xml涉及的主要是一些技巧, 即该书主要还是面向那些由Server端需要用到Ajax的开发人员. 而js的知识内容重复性多, 比如对于ie一些js的兼容性问题, 前后叙述多次, 也可见该书条理性不强.
3. 翻译质量不行. 虽然我没有看过原版, 但感受通篇基本都是直译, 让人觉得别扭, 虽然译者也使用了一些成语, 俗语. 有个地方, 我估计原文应该是add some trace methods to … 译者偏偏加了个译者注: “原文是’方法’, 有误.”, 然后将其翻译为’增加一些跟踪函数’.

    嘿嘿 只想找点系统介绍Ajax的资料看，质量在其次，听起来是不是这本书组织也不怎么好？
